Registration Details and Fees
The Committee welcomes all returning and new players to the Caves Beach Netball family for the 2018 season. We are looking forward to having another massive year that builds upon the success our Club has enjoyed both on and off the court over recent seasons.
Registration for 2018 season will be online at my.netball.com.au with two days allocated for assistance, these days will be held in the Mawson Room at Caves Beachside Hotel on the following dates:
- 4.30-6.30pm Wednesday 31st January; and
- 4.30-6.30pm Monday 5th February
Player fees for 2018 are:
- NetSetGo $135
- Junior (7 – 10) $195
- Intermediate (11 – 14) $215
- Cadet (15 -17) $190
- Senior (18+) $215
Due to the generous support of our sponsors and the Committee’s fundraising activities means that this year we are able to keep our fees the same as last season and offer our families registering 3 players a $50 reduction in the total cost of their fees while families registering 4 players will receive a $100 discount.

Player dresses, hoodies, socks, training singlets and other uniform items will be available for sale at both registration days. Please note that payments will be able to be made by cash or personal cheque. Registration enquiries should be directed to Katie Walkerden 0414 458 988.
Club Grading and Information Session
Players in the following age groups will be graded by the Club’s experienced grading committee at our Strathmore Road courts on the specified dates. We will advise of alternate dates should any of the above grading days need to be rescheduled due to bad weather. Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear and have plenty of water to drink. If you are unable to attend please advise Jackie Richardson 0413 774 654 or Kristie Dunne 0408 777 407.
Under 10 years including NETSETGO – players are not graded.
JUNIORS (10 – 12 years) – grading for our Junior players is compulsory and will occur on the following dates:
10 Years 20th Feb 2018 Tuesday 5.30pm-7.30pm
11 Years 21st Feb 2018 Wednesday 5.30pm-7.30pm
12/13 Years 19th Feb 2018 Monday 5.30pm-8pm
INTERMEDIATE (14 years) AND CADET (15 – 17 years) PLAYERS – Intermediate and Cadet players are required to attend an information session at our Strathmore Road courts on 22nd Feb 2018 5.30pm-7.30pm. At this information session, players in these age groups will be given the opportunity to be graded as individuals or as a team however this is optional and not compulsory.
SENIORS – Senior players are responsible for their own organisation. Senior Players / Teams must ensure that registration forms and fees are made no later than 28th Feb 2018.
Each team must provide a umpire, it is preferred that the umpire holds a district or national badge or would like to work towards achieving a district badge with the help of a coach.
Please contact the club if you need assistance in finding a suitable umpire.
If you do not provide an umpire your team will lose 2 competition points and incur a fine of $50.
Each team is responsible for payment of their umpire.
Lakeside Physical Grading and Winter Competition
Lakeside Association will also conduct team based grading for all teams 10 years and older prior to the winter season commencing.
The physical grading of teams by Lakeside is scheduled to occur on 7th April & 14 April 2018. Times for team grading will be released closer to these dates.
Lakeside’s winter competition will commence on 5th May 2018
Semi Finals are scheduled on 8th Sept
Finals are scheduled on 15th Sept
Grand Finals are scheduled on 22nd Sept
